Perfect binding requires a minimum of 50 pages = 25 leaves for the glue to hold the pages. Generally, the most popular papers used for the inside leaves are an uncoated 100gsm laser or a glossy 150gsm art paper. The cover wraps around the book and is usually printed on either a 250gsm or 300gsm matt or gloss board.
